Belly Button

Ok so most of you know that i used to have my belly button pierced. I alway thought i have had a pretty deep belly button as you generally have to stick about the whole first phalanx (bendy part of your finger) in my belly button to reach the bottom. However now as you can see both of the holes from my piercing arou now on top of my belly and the top hole used to be just at the very top of my belly button. on the up side now if i were to draw two eyes in above it it would look like someone was singing. Lol. enjoy!!!

Cleaning

Just Cleaning out my phone and thought i might as well post some pics of us. This just proves that though i am weird i married someone just as weird as me....
I think this one was a while ago, just cuz kurtis has increadibly short hair in this pic.

Bugg eyed pouty faces my favorite.

Kacie took this picture on sunday we've decided that i look like some sort of weird human puppy!

And my favorite kurtis pretending to pick his nose. This is what comes up when he calls me.

Just Keep Swimming, Swimming, Swimming

I figured that i'd write to tell you all how we're doing and what we've been up to.

Kurtis is just starting to get back into the swing of things at work. In asphalt the winter is down time pretty much. They've been working down at the flat getting things ready for this year and helping out at his bosses dads house with some chores. This next week he will be gone all week to moab where they have a job doing to paving i think. I will be moving in with the in laws for the week because apparently since i've gotton married i've become a scaredy pants. I'm still working at Bonneville we're rather slow right now so they are giving me more jobs to do, maybe that will mean i will get a raise soon!

Outside of work Kurtis is on a rec volleyball league in Murray. He plays ever thursday night and has been having fun with it. Volleyball is probably his favorite sport to play so getting to play it every week seems to be lifting his spirits. He also has been playing church ball every Saturday when they have enough guys. I am coaching our YW basketball team its been fun, my girls are undefeted and we have 2 games left so they're pretty excited. Especially since they are so young and really i only have 3 that know anything about basktball out of the 8. I've been having a hard time with the coaches on the other teams. they seem to think that this is the major leagues, and take it a little to seriously. Imagine that coming from me lol.

At my last Dr. appointment at the end of January my dr. told me that i needed to exercise more. The baby was measureing a little big and i had a big weight gain ( which i attested to not having a belly and then bam having one.) she was worried that if the baby keeps grown that fast that i wouldn't be able to deliver him naturally and would need a c-section. This was also about a week after i tore my round ligaments and had been having trouble just walking. So since i couldn't do anything that i was used to doing for exercise and i couldn't really walk i decided to try something new. So Kurtis and i now swim about 3 days a week at our rec center pool. It has been wonderful. i admit its very tiering but well worth it. I feel so light in the water and have noticed that once i get to a certin point i just bob right up. Kurtis has been teaching me form and breathing. He used to be on the swim team in highschool, so i'm lucky to get tips from him. Plus a nice thing is that during leisure swim i get to play bball in the water and i don't get hurt. :-)

Other than that we really haven't been doing much. We are really waiting for the good weather to get here the last few days we have had blue skies and 40-50 degree weather, but today we have a winter weather warning in effect until 10 pm and are supposed to get between 4-10 inches. So hopefully they are wrong.

anyway thats us. TTFN

Euphoria of Spring

Its been awhile since I’ve wrote like this but the sun is out the skies are blue and the feel of spring is upon me. And those of you who were in Marchant’s English class in high school understand what that seems to do to me. A gentle euphoria consumes me and nothing but whimsical bliss fills my body. Its days like these that I wish I could capture in a bottle and put them on a shelf so I could take them out to enjoy on a cold winter day. The flicker of green grass through the glistening snow, a drop of hope that the beauty of the world is under there waiting for its time to shine. I think the only thing that could make this more perfect would be if the ocean we’re at my feet. I’ve always said that there is a soothing, healing power possessed in the ocean. Its unexplainable, like a wonderful magic healing. The sounds the smells the beauty and wonder of the ocean. I count myself truly blessed to be have been able to experience the ocean in its entirety for two summers. It did heal me in so many ways. Alas the spring fever has hit me, the one thing I love about living in a desert is that spring seems to last a bit longer. Spring rain, spring grass, spring flower and spring skies. I look out the window and am taken back to my childhood running through fields with that wonderful big sky above and the smells of mud, dirt and fun. My favorite place as a kid was exploring nature, the animals the water, the trees, the mud. It whisked me away to my many daydreams, I was a paleontologist, a marine biologist, I was huck fin. Sometimes now that I know I’ve become an adult I wish I could go back to those days, where my dreams where the limit and all it took to keep me occupied for hours was my imagination and a field, creek, and trees. I have a feeling that if I were back there I would still enjoy it but not to the magnitude that I did then. What is that change that happens when our imaginations seem to become dull, that our fantasies become out of our reach and we stop dreaming altogether. I believe that the euphoria of spring takes me back, it brings by my childhood, the excitement of shorts and warm weather. The chance to go outside and explore, trips and friends it brings my dreams back to my grasp with the brightness of the sun and sends light throughout my body. I can’t help but smile.

Belly Pics

Alright girls here they are.... I had Janet (kurtis's Mom take these Saturday night. And so you all know this belly didn't really appear until last week and it has grown quickly. Callie i don't know how you even function with your belly mine is driving me crazy. Especially since our little boy is so low, he is really not even above my hips and so i've just decided that he has pushed everything else up and thats why my belly is getting so big. Anyway Enjoy!!! By the way i hate the middle picture so i hope you all like it.

OK OK I'm writing agian but you'll still have to wait for pics sorry!!!

Ok so it has been FOREVER since i last updated the blog i keep telling myself that when the baby is born i will get better. But we'll have to wait and see. Anyway Sorry no belly pictures i was really trying to get them done this weekend but alas i am a big picture slacker. So the big news as most of you know is....

ITS A BOY!!!! we found out last Thursday January 17th. (funny enough this is the day that kurtis proposed last year.) so maybe something good will happen next year at that time too. We had an ultrasound and the nurse was having trouble seeing what exactly he was because he likes to have his legs crossed. Anyway the nurse measured the body and we have some pics from the ultrasound of feet arms etc. our favorite seems to be what i call the terminator picture. its a picture of the babies eye and it looks like a machine its crazy!!! Anyway since she was unable to figure out what the baby was she assured us that the dr. would be in soon, (aka we waited for about and hour for him to come in) and that he would be able to tell us. So the dr. came in said everything looked normal and that even though the measurements put me about 3 days ahead of schedule to stay with our original due date. Then he asked if we had any other questions. To which we were both like "uhhh can we find out what it is" he seemed surprised and was like they didn't tell you and we told him that they were having a hard time so he got out the ultrasound machine again and started to probe. Also worth mentioning He seems to like to hang out right on my Bladder as if its he own personal body pillow. The nurse and the Dr. commented about how low he is. When he finally found him again he was like well i can see why they've been having so much trouble, as his legs were still crossed. so after i told kurtis to stop poking the baby the dr. used the ultrasound tool and banged it onto my stomach to get him to uncross his legs. Then came a question: "so what do you think that is" i have to admit i felt a little like Rachel from friends as i couldn't see anything. But kurtis answered quickly "its a penis" and the dr. said " its a girl.. with a penis" lol and said "no i'm just joking its about see here is the scrotum and the head of the penis, i'm 100% sure if i'm wrong you can call me" so we're pretty darn sure that is a boy!

now the news of the week. So you all know that i'm very competitive when it comes to sports. Well i've been very good not even been around sports so i'm not tempted to play. We'll i happen to be the Young Women's b-ball coach. so Tuesday was our first game. Which we won 25 to 1. however before hand i was playing around nothing hard or anything and picked up a ball and did a layup. well apparently i pulled or strained my round ligaments. So i can hardly walk now its getting a little better but i've been told by my dr. the only thing i can do is take Tylenol and hot/cold it and they gave me a number to a physical therapist. so i took yesterday off and am back at work today. hobbeling around, i was told that it doesn't get better until after the pregancy is over which could make for a miserable 4 1/2 months but we'll see.

anyway sorry no pics i'll get them soon. Love you all!!!

BABY ON THE WAY!!!

So i thought i would let everyone who doesn't already know. That Kurtis and I are expecting an addition to are family around the beggining of June. My first doctor's appointment is holy cow November 26. at that time i'll be 12 weeks along. Which yes puts me at 10 weeks acutally today. We're quite excited and if i felt a little better i would be super excited. But i have been assured that the sickness is well worth it. Everyone else seems to be rather excited as well. We told our parents and siblings about a week after we found out back in september. And since this will be the first grandchild on both sides there is ton's of excitement. I'll try and keep you all updated with belly pictures when i get a belly none as of yet. (which makes me feel like i am just sick for a month instead of being pregnant) I keep saying that when i get a belly i might acutally become more real. I'll also see if i can't somehow get an ultra sound on here or something.

pictures from the honeymoon

so i thought you all might like to see some pitures from the honeymoon so here they are, plus just some random pics. I had to throw in the one of dylan because i knew becky would get a kick out of it. he and . it wkurtis go a long great and at this moment dylan was trying very hard to eat mashed potatoes with a tooth pick. This pic is from the wax place in vegasas pretty fun however i don't think it was worth the money. This picture is from the 4th game of the 2nd round of the nba playoffs in utah against The Golden State Warriors. The game that went into overtime and also he same game that Derek Fisher came in late in the 2nd half after flying in from new york where his daughter was having surgery. I was very proud to say that we stayed for the entire game. There were many who left before the overtime thinking we had no chance on winning. It was a great game.

This kinda wraps up my recap. so now here's whats new. about a month ago we fell in love with this puppy. she is so stinking cute and we vist her almost every weekend to see if she has sold yet. even though we cannot have her. She is a puggle a mix between a pug and a beagle and we think she is adorable

The Summer

Sorry to everyone who i don't talk to on a regular basis, hopefully this blog will help us all keep in touch a little better... That is if i take enough pictures and don't forget to keep writing on this. anyway... So for those of you who i may be really out of touch with yes this is now Sam Anderson formally known as Sam Wadsworth. I guess i will start back in March of this year.

I got married to my love Kurtis Anderson back on March 24t of this year. We live in an apartment in NSL and have been enjoying our time in our little apartment. After our wedding and two receptions we went on a honeymoon for a week in vegas. We had a lot of fun. Went to spamalot the tournment of Kings and all over the strip. Kurtis got to skip out on a week of school and i got a nice week off from work. After we got back we got to try to set up our apartment with all the wonderful gifts that everyone gave us. However about a quarter or more of these gifts are till at Kurtis's parents house at we still try to find places for them. :-)

After the initial Settling in and getting back into the swing of things, we were both busy playing sports. I had a Womens Basketball League on Mondays, Kurtis had Church ball Monday nights, Softball Tuesdays( i played everyonce and a while when they needed a sub), and we both played Volleyball on Thursdays. Along with going to a lot of soccer games over the summer for Kurtis, and his sisters Kimly and Kacie. Soccer is really starting to win me over now, and i think had we actually had it in MT i might have been very good. We have also spent some time watching Kurtis's Mom play softball. Its been fun being able to see everyone and enjoy the time outside.

In July we spent a week in MT. We went boating/wakeboarding/rope swinging for the first few days at holland Lake by seeley. The rest of the week we bought fireworks (amazingly kurtis let me light them even though he has been determined to keep me away from any fire after hearing stories about my pryo ways and mishaps) and canoeing from dixon to hotsprings bridge. We had a lot of fun and got a lot of sun. Blake and Jay had fun with us as well on the canoe trip, we all enjoyed a nice relaxing day on the water. The last night we were there we went over to Aunty Kay's house for some fireworks, food and family. Kenny, Linda and thier kids were there along with Kelly and Bill with there family and a suprise Kim and Mason where there with their kids and Olivia and Kyle. we also got to see Grandma Krants and Patty. The trip was just what the doctor order. I really needed a break from work as did Kurtis. It really couldn't have come at a better time.

Now to recently. I guess the biggest event in our house was just two weeks ago, at the start of college football season. Kurtis has been coveting the newspaper for the last month in antisipation for the season to start. On the 1st we kicked in the start of the season by attending a BYU game with Kurtis's grandparent. It also happened to be the game where they retired Ty Detmer' and Gifford Nielson's jerseys. They played Arizona State and brought the start of the season with a great win. We got to enjoy the day in the sun watching football and eating snow cones. It was great!!

Other than that the only other news is that I was recently suprised with a Nintedo wii. which we play all the time. I highly recommend them too. The boxing is a great work out, and you never have to pay for bowling agian! also Kurtis is now playing on two soccer teams one on monday night and the other on wednesday nights so he has something to do while i am at young womens. Yes we have both recently gotten callings at church. I am now a Laural Adviser the the Young Women at our ward and Kurtis is now the 4th sunday teacher in Elders Quorm. Kurtis has decided not to go to school this semster and that he is going to be tranfering to the U (U of Utah) for the spring semester as they will accomodate his schedual better and offer more classes. I am still working at Bonneville Mortgage Company as an Assistant loan closer.

I think thats a long enough blog for today hopefully i can update it with some pictures soon.

Hello!!!

WELCOME TO OUR BLOG!!! After having a friend send me her family blog page i decided to make one of my own. hope you enjoy our pic's and updates.
