My attempt as sewing!!!

Ok I was bored and decided i needed a project and figured i would get out my sewing machine for the second time in 2 years. I didn't want to do anything to hard but nothing so easy i would be done really fast. So i decided to make kyler some PJ's. The problem was that the pattern i got at is smallest size was for a kid around 3. So the neck on the top is a little big and they are both a little long. but they seem to work good enough and he seems to like them. Overall i'm pretty happy that they at least turned out looking like actual pjs. Here are a few pics.

Happy Halloween

We got snow yesterday for the first time of the year and i decided that on monday i wanted to get some picks of kyler outside in his halloween costume while it still looks like Fall so here ya go.

This is my favorite one. I had great ideas for pics but couldn't get him to sit down long enough to get any of them. He had just gotten finished telling me what a cow says.

And here is my little nuggle been and his beloved puppy.

The Attack on Baby Einstein

Ok i have baby einsteins that i got from my mother in law for christmas last year for kyler. He absolutly loves them. It is a great supplimental video to help you teach your children in my opinion. I know they say your not supposed to let your kids watch any TV before 2 years old and here is what i have to say to that. How many of you who say this watched tv before you were 2 i'm willing to bet about 95% of you did. Especially if you were the youngest or actually anything after the first child. Now if your mad at your parents for letting you watch the smurfs or the chipmunks as a kid and wrecking your chances at being a genius i'm sorry for you or rather i'm sorry for your parents to have to deal with your big pain in there butt.

These give me a little time to do the laundry while kyler runs around the room and tries to do what the kids do in the video. He learned what his nose was and how to dance etc... from baby einstein. Though i'm sure it wasn't entirely from baby einstein becuase we were working on these things with him too, but they are a great help mate. There for i don't think they are bad and i don't think that i'm a bad parent for letting my child watch them. If your worried about your child being obese why don't you talk them out on a walk or let them play outside or maybe you should start with your diet. Take some iniative and make other changes in your life. Generally children emulate there parents so if your lazy your child will be too. If you have an activce lifestyle your child will too. Quit blaming other things for your problems and start taking responsability for your own actions. Then maybe we can solve some of the real problems in the world.

I loved what this person said.

I would like to thank the CCFC for their hard work and would like to draw their attention to other matters at hand. The Wiggles. By watching these videos, my son, does in fact, NOT wiggle! It's more of a bopping from side to side and spinning. Exercise or an attempt by four older men in colorful clothes to brainwash and take over the lives of our children!? Plus, Barney is not a real dinosaur! What are we teaching our children, lies!
Please don't insult our intelligence as parents. Anything in excess can be detrimental, even to adults.

Our Pet

In about June Kurtis and i had been talking about his work he was telling me how they see salamanders all the time. So i told him the next time he found one he should bring it home for me. Those of you who knew me as a kid should know this shouldn't be any suprise. So a few weeks later he and his uncle matt climed into one of the man holes and rescued this guy. He has been there for a few years. They figure his egg got washed into the hole and he has never been able to leave since its just a hole. So now he is our pet. So far he doesn't have a name sad i know but he gets regular cleaning (his tank anyway) and lots of crickets. He is a Tiger Salamander from what i can figure and can get up to about 15 inches long. Right now he's probably around 10 or 11''. They can live up to 20 years in captivity so we should hopefully have him for a long long time. Let me know if you think up any names.

Last month Kyler and I went to the Zoo with Kim, and her two girls(sydney, and Bella), and Ashely and Riley. Here's a pic of Kyler Sydney and bella.

Kyler and Bella are 2 days apart.
Bella Loved the elephants.

The baby elephant was born a few weeks earlier. It was really fun to see here there were a ton of new babies at the zoo this summer.

This is Ash and Rylie

Kyler and the Dessert Owl. I wish i would have gotten a pic of him bending over and looking at the fish it was quite funny.

This is a cool thing the zoo has its huge. it also makes sounds and blows water out of its trunk.

Kyler didn't want to leave the meerkats. There were babies in this exhibit too. He loved them so much.

Kyler the Gorilla King

Kyler the Alligator Hunter

They have a really nice play area for kids Kyler didn't want to leave the zoo even though we got there are about 9 and didn't leave until 1.
