Welli dn't know if its been on any of your news stations i'm sure it will be soon. the state is trying to get it classified as a disaster area. To bring in the chirstmas season we had a hurrican with out water. The fastest the wind got was 102 mph in centerville where i shop only 2-3 miles away from my house. My town got the 2nd highest of it with gusts up to 92 mph. We were out of power for over 12 hrs and there are so many more people still without power i mean our whole area no power nothing open no gas stations open no stores nothing. When i went to smiths grocery store when i found out it was open they were giving away dried iced for peoples fridge and freezers.
I was awake pretty much the whole night the wind started at about 2:15 am and didn't die down at our house till about 9:30 am our. I was watching the news when the power went out at about 6:20 am and it came back on at our house at around 10pm. And we were sooo sooo sooo lucky. The only thing that happened at our house is that our back fence went over its gone. but people around us lost siding off there houses, shingles off there roofs trees toppeling over on garages and fences. Our neighbor alex's trampoline was on her side of the fence one time and then in the neighbors fence the next second i was watching when it happened. one of our neighbors's roof from there shed was completelly blown off. all in all everyone i know if ok nothing horrible happened to any of them. But we heard of peoples houses that are just demolished. Windows blown out of cars and houses, semi's blown over, full 3 story building being built that are now just a foundation, roofing from schools embedded in cars i mean just crazy. I'll get some pics up later but for now were just glad to get a good night of sleep and that we have power and heat back on. And were so thankful that all that happened to us was the fence we feel to lucky that nothing and i mean nothing else happened.
