Turkey day treats and kyler

Yesterday Kurtis had a class till 9 for work so kyler and i were on are own all day. man did i get bored so i decided to make some treats that i saw on Studio 5(this is also the show that i won the new moon tickets on) any way here they are not great pics. But the acorns are made with PB and Chocolate with almonds and pretzels. The leaves are sugar cookies. These are some more acorns and my turkey farm. I adapted these a bit the faces are supposed to be made out of candy corn but i couldn't find any for sale in the 3 places i went so i gave up and used cashews instead i think they still look great. The wattels are made from red hots and the body is a chocolate creme from wal mart $1 for all these plus there were a few left over. The feathers are sugar cookes from the batch i made with the leaves and the feet are pretzles.
The last creation didn't turn out as well as i would have liked but probably becuse i improvised a bit i made some round sugar cookies and covered them with chocolate the tops are chocolate covered marshmallows and the black band is sum ribbon and the gold buckle is a laughy taffy i rolled out and cut into 8 pieces. either way i figure they will work for my visiting teaching if i can keep them around long enough.
This is kylers had. His cousin Sarah made it for him during conference, but he has just recently started to like it. He looks like he is about 3 to me in all these pictures
I think this one looks like he's trying to be cool but really he's just pulling off the hat.

My Little boy is getting to Big to fast.
This is his new hair cut i haven't been able to spike it like the lady that cut it did. Probably becuas i didn't acutally see it when it was done. I was at the movie when Kurtis took him for the hair cut so he was in bed when i got home. He looks a lot older to me now. Thank goodness for cookie cutters hair salon for kids kurtis said the had an apointment for and were home by 6:10. She was that fast and he didn't even scream at her. As far as i'm concerned we can go there every time so i don't have to fight him to get his hair cut.

He looks so grown up. I can't believe it. Every time I see pictures, he's a different kid.

I love the pilgrim hats, but all the treats are cute. Fun ideas.

Wow, you are really ambitious!!! Cute treats, though. Kyler is getting to be such a such a little boy! Kaden is too...they are growing much too quickly! We cut Kaden's hair...to match Daddy's of course...he's not a big fan of the clippers, but does seem to be getting better. Glad it wasn't a traumatic experience for Kyler. :)
