By golley i think we found it!!!

Ok so everything happens for a reason. We have recently found a twin home for sale on kinda a whim. We of course are sick of our apartment and i am absolutly sick of renting from incompatent landlords. So on tuesday we set out to go look at a few places i had found online. I had been looking at this one home for quite a while. I wasn't sure why it had caught my attention so much because it was only a 2 bdrm 1 1/2 bath and we have been looking for something bigger. However i put it on the list. It just so happened that across the street was another twin home for sale by owner. so we called on it the lady said it was 3bdrm 2 1/2 bath and 1600 sq ft. also that she wanted 170,000. or rather that she was hoping for that much. The next day kurtis' parents went with me by it in the afternoon and Janet made me call and set up an appointment to see it that night. so long story short we fell in love with it that night we, went and talked with her yesterday about a price and agreed on $165,000 and to split the closing costs. The only thing we have left to do is talk to our loan officer and gett the amount approved. Which we have an apointment set up for on monday (he is out of town till then or we would have done it today). And we figure if that goes well we will fill out a purchase contract on tuesday and get the ball rolling. So cross your fingers for us.

Oooh, exciting! That is exactly what we are looking for! :) Do you want to teleport it here. Tee hee. I'm so glad you have found something. It is really exciting. David and I are going to be actively looking here in a few weeks...so we can time it out in such a way that we won't have to pay rent and a morgage payment in the same month! It is way exciting. Best of luck.
